What should pupils wear at Currie Community High School ?

Updated: Jan 6

In summary, the dress code at Currie Community High School (CCHS) is straightforward:

  • The colour theme is black and white.

  • Clothing may be worn with or without the school badge.

For more details, see below:

What to wear for PE

There are no lockers at CCHS, so PE kit must be carried to school.  PE is all about being active, so make sure clothing is comfortable and suitable for a wide range of movement:

  • The black and white school theme is encouraged, but the rules around branding and colour are more relaxed for PE.

  • A practical PE kit includes: a loose-fitting t-shirt, shorts / leggings / joggers, and trainer-style shoes suitable for PE.

What not to wear to school

Clothing or footwear should not:

  • Show obvious slogans or commercial branding;

  • Be linked to a sports team (unless it’s a school team);

  • Be highly minimal or revealing, such as low-slung trousers or cropped tops.

Help with the cost of uniform

We know uniform costs can be challenging at times.  The option to wear unbadged items is designed to give families more flexibility.  If you or someone you know needs further support, help may be available from:
