Holidays 2027/28/29 - give your view

Hi parents and carers,

The City of Edinburgh Council has asked all local schools to provide a view on the proposed holiday dates for the 2027/28 and 2028/29 school sessions.

There are two options for each year, with differences in the October break and the start dates for the Winter and Summer holidays.

These have been put together by a group of headteachers, centre leaders, parents and council staff, taking into account City of Edinburgh public holidays and the exam timetable for senior pupils.

Please complete the form by Monday 4th May 2026. The majority vote will be put forward as the overall preference from Currie CHS community.
